What is it?
T-Math is a training website for teachers of transitional math, a course for high school seniors designed to prepare them for college and career. Developed during the 2019 calendar year, the project was funded by an Illinois Math Science Partnership grant.
I worked with a multi-functional team to convert an interactive in-person teacher training to a fully asynchronous online platform. The resulting website: https://tmath.niu.edu has six functional modules and uses micro credentialing to encourage teacher use.
My Role on the Team
- Organized content from the in-person training into learning modules, overseeing the overall learning design.
- Worked with the team to create the website, providing functional and aesthetic input as needed.
- Wrote end-of-module assessments for all modules to award micro credentialing.
- Developed three modules by writing script, integrating media, embedding checkpoint questions, and recording voice over.
